trans guys: don’t date someone who isn’t attracted to guys. don’t date lesbians. don’t date straight guys. don’t date someone who acts like they’re only dating you because you’re “”close enough to a girl.”” you’re not a girl in any way, and you deserve to date someone who loves you for your gender, not despite it.
this has gotten a Lot of notes and many people are commenting that they’re in a relationship where the other person is not attracted to men. “but i’m their exception!” no, you’re not. if they say anything about how as long as your body looks female, they’re attracted to you; about policing your transition; about refusing to change their label but swear they like you despite your gender – all of that is tied into the way they still do not accept your gender. reevaluate your relationship.
