Millie Bobby Brown says ya’ll need to stop coming between her and Drake.

Her response proves the point about this being an inappropriate “friendship”.

Her response also proves her parents care more about the money than their own kid.

I was just thinking that too.

I just don’t get why they’re sitting back and allowing this. For fame? I mean damn….at least try and be a parent.

Sadly, many parents love money more than their children.

I just hope someone steps in to protect her.

What’s really fucked up is we know if he wasn’t rich they would’ve called the police on him a long time ago.

and unfortunately a lot of teens don’t recognize how young they are. like despite feeling n acting mature they can’t change the fact that they aren’t n don’t fully understand the potential ramifications of relationships like this. it just feels like infantilization to them which is frustrating to kids who don’t see themselves as kids. and its not until they’re older do they begin to realize why these situations are so concerning n after that it ends up being too late n just a whirlwind of trauma following right after

It’s why one of the things in this society that need to change is how we deal with growing children.

Cause I explicitly remember feeling so mature and grown for my age. I remember feeling frustrated that my opinion was never heard and that I wasn’t old enough for people to listen to me.

So when someone came along who did….there I went. I felt so grown cause someone who was grown told me so. And they listened and agreed.

That was such a rush.

But here’s the thing. This person is an actually grown person. With a spectrum of experiences they gained through time. Time I should have gotten to experience these things as well. To learn about myself physically emotionally and even sexually.

And now that I’m older I don’t see the appeal. I don’t see the appeal at all in talking to someone who’s 14 like that. I don’t see the appeal of waiting for someone to grow of age. I can’t wrap my head around what is so attractive in a person with that little experience in life.

But I can guess it’s the simple easily obtained admiration that men like this mistake for respect. And guys like Drake? A woman who’s 31? Even me at 23 I see his bullshit. A 14 year old can’t see it. Doesn’t see his major insecurities, misogynistic views and the many other red flags.

We need to stop giving children the implication that there is an age in which they start being respected. Cause predators will easily fill that void and children will protect them until it’s too late.

Every new thing I read just makes thier interacting more and more inappropriate. This grown ass man is grooming a teen girl and people are handwaving away how terrible and bad that is or whining about how MeToo has gone too far and dudes can’t even be friends like gtfo
