Why the fuck do people say “fix” when they neuter their animals

It’s not fucking “fixing” them it’s fucking them up

If I hear you say “fix” when you mean “neuter” I lose respect for you because it’s not fixing them you pieces of shits

Dumbass over here clearly not understanding the whole reason people “fix” their pets is to “fix” the huge issue of population control. U know when cats/dogs go in heat (or smell a female in heat) they do everything they can to excape and go get jiggy causing a shitload of puppies/kittens to be born and either become strays (and susiquently mess with the local ecosystem) or go to an already overcrouded shelter.

(And it dosent matter if your the best pet owner in the world and your pet never leaves your yard, other animals from your neighborhood will have no problem comming in your yard to mate. Sometimes you just cant control that)

Trust me your little baby going through a surgery and a week of discomfort (with pain medication thats usually provided by the vet) is significantly better than hundreds of animals being born on the streets to starve/get hurt/get sick/ ect and grow up to only make more strays to face the same suffering.

Not to mention that usually getting animals spayed/neutued also tends to make them less agressive meaning less likly they’ll get into fights with other animals or try to run off potentially getting them hurt.

Dont be a dick, get your animals fixed!
