(If this gets no notes I’m gonna scream)
Meet Oliva, your Transmed MtF wcm! She knows you need dysphoria to be trans and she thinks every lesbian, gay male, bisexual person, and transsexuals should be feeling happy today !

Someone draw her growing up and getting an nb girlfriend and lots of non dysphoric friends along with her apologizing. @anna-hates-meanies @dragonenby

hi, please don’t play god with Olivia. she’s a transmed and you’re in a phase.

I’m a dysphoric trans person. I just know you don’t need to be dysphoric to be trans. She’ll apologize for being an exclusionost once she learns better. For now we’ll just continue to protect the trans people you guys make fun of.

“Gender dysphoria (GD), or gender identity disorder (GID), is the distress a person experiences as a result of the sex and gender they were assigned at birth. In this case, the assigned sex and gender do not match the person’s gender identity, and the person is transgender.“

the definition of transition:

“the process or a period of changing from one state or condition to another.”

ok so even if your little mogai-tucute buddies uwu were valid they’re not even transgender. by definition you can’t go like, halfway through a transition and call it quits or a full transition.

but go off

if you’re talkin bout anna and me when you say “tucute buddies”, we’re also both dysphoric so jump in a lake.

your definition means literally nothing, since everybody knew that shit anyway. I don’t know what your point is.

the reason why being a transmed is so fuckin toxic aside from blatantly harming non-dysphoric trans people? here’s a fun fact: i experienced gender euphoria BEFORE I recognized what dysphoria was, and having room to experiment let me figure out that yes I actually did have dysphoria but I didn’t recognize what it was yet.

If I’d been exposed to this gatekeeping nonsense, it would have forced me deeper into the closet. It would have bene incredibly harmful to me. I didn’t recognize my social dysphoria because I didn’t know what that was yet. You have no idea how much damage you’re doing do dysphoric trans people by creating this kind of toxicity.

and here’s a link by a reputable source stating that not all trans people experience dysphoria.

but I doubt you’re gonna read it because you actually didn’t even read the links you posted.

you linked wikipedia which is fine because this isn’t school, and I took a skim through what you posted and you actually contradicted yourself in what you posted.

Gender identity is the personal sense of one’s own gender.[1] Gender identity can correlate with assigned sex at birth, or can differ from it.[2] All societies have a set of gender categories that can serve as the basis of the formation of a person’s social identity in relation to other members of society.[3] In most societies, there is a basic division between gender attributes assigned to males and females,[4] a gender binary to which most people adhere and which includes expectations of masculinity and femininity in all aspects of sex and gender: biological sex, gender identity, and gender expression.[5] Some people do not identify with some, or all, of the aspects of gender assigned to their biological sex;[6] some of those people are transgender, genderqueer or non-binary. There are some societies that have third gender categories.

no mention of dysphoria here.

Gender identity can lead to security issues among individuals that do not fit on a binary scale.[62] In some cases, a person’s gender identity is inconsistent with their biological sex characteristics (genitals and secondary sex characteristics), resulting in individuals dressing and/or behaving in a way which is perceived by others as outside cultural gender norms. These gender expressions may be described as gender variant, transgender, or genderqueer[63] (there is an emerging vocabulary for those who defy traditional gender identity),[64] and people who have such expressions may experience gender dysphoria (traditionally called Gender Identity Disorder or GID). Transgender individuals are greatly affected by language and gender pronouns before, during, and after their transition.[65]

In recent decades it has become possible to reassign sex surgically. Some people who experience gender dysphoria seek such medical intervention to have their physiological sex match their gender identity; others retain the genitalia they were born with (see transsexual for some of the possible reasons) but adopt a gender role that is consistent with their gender identity.

Did you read the part I bolded?

“and people who have such expressions may experience gender dysphoria (traditionally called Gender Identity Disorder or GID).”

MAY

AS IN MAYBE.

Here’s a cool quote from a different article.

Transgender people may meet the criteria for a diagnosis of gender identity disorder (GID) “only if [being transgender] causes distress or disability.”[80]

Again, may meet the criteria. Dysphoria is only diagnosed if being trans causes distress or disability.

This distress is referred to as gender dysphoria and may manifest as depression or inability to work and form healthy relationships with others. This diagnosis is often misinterpreted as implying that transgender people suffer from GID; this misinterpretation has greatly confused transgender people and those who seek to either criticize or affirm them. Transgender people who are comfortable with their gender and whose gender is not directly causing inner frustration or impairing their functioning do not suffer from GID.

I bolded that sentence just for you.

Moreover, GID is not necessarily permanent and is often resolved through therapy or transitioning. Feeling oppressed by the negative attitudes and behaviors of such others as legal entities does not indicate GID. GID does not imply an opinion of immorality; the psychological establishment holds that people with any kind of mental or emotional problem should not receive stigma. The solution for GID is whatever will alleviate suffering and restore functionality; this solution often, but not always, consists of undergoing a gender transition.[74]

Yeah, you get the idea.

Bud, its cool if you wanna source your arguments, but if your sources blatantly contradict what you are trying to tell me then what’s the point?

Oh and @doctordiscourse I hope it’s okay if I ask you to DM me about this sorta thing next time? I’m in general stepping away from the discourse, and I only took the bait for this one because it was just… too easy. hope that’s okay! xx

oh and if any other truscum see this post and think it’s an opportunity to engage with me?

DON’T INTERACT. you will be blocked.

alright, way to block me before letting me rebuttal. bet that one gets you far in debate club. ( @transmed-sam )

Okay, here we go. Let’s address this at what i see as the very base of the issue:

http://www.sciencemag.org/news/2017/04/study-finds-some-significant-differences-brains-men-and-women

okay. so. its just an article about brain sexes, but here’s a quote:

Adjusting for age, on average, they found that women tended to have significantly thicker cortices than men…… Men had higher brain volumes than women in every subcortical region they looked at, including the hippocampus (which plays broad roles in memory and spatial awareness), the amygdala (emotions, memory, and decision-making), striatum (learning, inhibition, and reward-processing), and thalamus (processing and relaying sensory information to other parts of the brain).

right, okay. men and women have different nerves and shit. What does this have to do with being transsexual?

here you go.

Male and female brains are, on average, slightly different in structure, although there is tremendous individual variability. Several studies have looked for signs that transgender people have brains more similar to their experienced gender.

this is what causes dysphoria: transsexual people have a closer brain to that of their identifying gender. so, i’d have a brain similar to that of a cis males.

being trans is literally a mental disorder, and brain sex studies prove this. oh, and heres a little cherry on top I enjoyed:

Dr. Joseph Berger has issued a statement saying that from a medical and scientific perspective there is no such thing as a “transgendered” person, and that terms such as “gender expression” and “gender identity" used in the bill are at the very least ambiguous, and are more an emotional appeal than a statement of scientific fact.

From a medical standpoint, you can’t be a “genderfuck demi-boy”. The brain sex theory just proves this more.

So, congrats to trenders and tucutes: you’re romanticizing a mental disorder.

oh, and in the future, don’t fucking treat me like a child. tyty 😘

You told me nothing that I didn’t already know, and you actually didn’t disprove anything that I said. ¯_(ツ)_/¯ you were very quick to say “but science!” while completely failing to address the link I provided. I knew about the brain stuff. I’ve read about the brain stuff. Obviously trans brains are different. I never said that they weren’t.

Also uhhhhh Dr. Berger? Yeah don’t listen to him because he’s a rampant fucking transphobe who thinks that being trans isn’t a real thing!

Hmmmmmmmm

I blocked you because I’m not interested in engaging with you especially. You’re boring and your arguments are boring. Wanna be not treated like a child? Don’t act like one. When I say that I’m done, I mean that I don’t owe you a conversation and I have a fairly explicit DNI in my header. I got brought into this conversation, otherwise I wouldn’t have said anything. And I also probably wouldn’t have said anything if your sources weren’t so horrendous.

Last note:

I don’t interact with truscum because y’all are boring and transphobic. Dunno what to tell you, but letting people be themselves is fine and telling people that they can’t be trans because YOU don’t think so isn’t fine.

And thanks for giving me this blog so I can block it to
